From the SW Coast Path (What3Words coordinates in brackets)

Approaching from the west:

From Looe follow the coat path to Portwrinkle beach. Just above the beach turn right off Finnygook Lane (///petrified.ignoring.only) on to the coast path and go past the golf course
(///appraised.pots.innovate). Stay on the coast path across the next field, and go through the gate on the far side (///chuckling.billiard.tanks).
Immediately bear left diagonally up the slope to the gate in the hedge (///makeovers.knitted.binds). Go through gate and follow the edge of the field to the gate at the end on to the B3247 opposite Trethill Lane (///decanter.mealtime.deranged).
Turn left and walk 100m to the entrance to the Liscawn on the right (///pounding.novels.warrior).

Approaching from the east:

Follow the coast road as it turns away from the Tregantle Cliff. 300m up the lane on the left go through the gate on to the permissive path through the MOD ranges (///burglars.perplexed.sums).
Follow the path up to Tregantle Fort (///operated.screen.trendy) and follow the tarmac road around the coast side of the fort. This is signposted Coast Path. Follow the signposts to the end of the ranges, and exit through the gate (///answer.pranced.replays).
Bear right along the hedge of the field to the gate at the top (///makeovers.knitted.binds). Turn right through the gate and follow the edge of the field to the gate at the end on to the B3247 opposite Trethill Lane (///decanter.mealtime.deranged).
Turn left and walk 100m to the entrance to the Liscawn on the right (///pounding.novels.warrior).

If the Ranges are in use, the permissive path is closed. The coastal path reroutes along the B3247. The path initially is on the north side of the road, and crosses to the south side at the top of Antony Hill. It is not necessary to walk in the roadway.
The path rejoins the coast path at the exit gate from the ranges (///answer.pranced.replays).
