We would like to thank you for your enquiry about holding a function here at The Liscawn Inn. We look forward to having the opportunity to be part of your special day.

We can comfortably hold up to 80 people for a formal sit-down meal and up to 170 for a buffet.

We do not charge for room hire and our prices include VAT

For your guests we have 12 en-suite bedrooms each with remote controlled colour television and full hospitality trays. We have a variety of rooms from double, twin, family rooms and self-catering suites. We have wheel-chair friendly rooms plus two rooms with ground floor access. We can also provide cots and highchairs for your infant guests. We are also pet friendly.

Decisions, Decisions

Once you have cogitated and digested our selections, devise your own set menu choosing one item from each course. Choose 1 Starter, 1 Main Couse, Choice of Vegetables, 1 Potato dish and 1 Dessert. This will become your personal Menu Selection. We will happily advise you on your menu compilation. If there is anything you would like but do not see, please do not hesitate to ask. We are known for our flexibility and will be only too pleased to try to accommodate your wishes.

Vegetarian and special dietary requirements can be catered for on an individual basis.

We can also provide a formal Buffet Menu for your party, and we can also cater for your evening recption with a lovely self-serve buffet to include both hot and cold items.

Children under 10 years old are charged at half price. Cake bases, stands and knives can be hired from us.

To make your choice easier we have put together example buffets priced per person. If you would like to select your own combination from the different buffet menus please ask to discuss your choice further. To make your choice of drinks easier we have a number of suggestions priced per person. If you would rather choose your own drinks, please discuss your choice with us further. Any deviations from these selections will be priced at normal bar prices.

Bookings and Deposits

When you have decided on the date for your function, please contact us so we can check availability for you. If available a provisional booking (made without obligation) will be taken. We then need a letter of confirmation within 14 days together with a deposit of £200.00. This will be forfeited if you cancel the booking unless we resell the facilities. Four weeks prior to the function, a further 50% of the estimated total bill is to be paid. The balance of the account is to be settled 7 days prior to the function. Final numbers will be required 24 hours before, and this will be the minimum number prepared and charged for. Any outstanding balance can be paid after the function.

Cancellation

If you unfortunately have to cancel your function, the Liscawn Inn retains the amount shown below in lieu of cancellation:
In the event of cancellation more than 6 months prior to the event no cancellation fee charge will be levied, apart from loss of the original deposit.
Cancellation received less than 6 months prior to the event will incur a 25% cancellation charge based on the estimated cost of the function; less than 3 months incurs a 50% cancellation charge, and leass than 1 month incurs a 100% cancellation charge. However if you rebook the function for a later date we may be able to waive cancellation charges.
